This macro-theme aims to improve the understanding of the processes and phenomena that control the genesis and distribution of georesources, including geomaterials, critical raw materials, geogenic gases, energy resources, groundwater, and geological heritage. In addition, it focuses on resource characterisation and on the development of knowledge and innovative solutions to promote their informed and sustainable use and valorisation.
