Geo-environmental risk analysis, assessment, and management to support land-use planning and emergency management
The Risk macro theme focuses on the development of data analysis and process modeling techniques, GIS strategies, and decision support systems across the entire risk cycle: from hazard analysis to communication, including exposure, impacts, vulnerability, expected losses, environmental monitoring, mitigation strategies, and emergency management. Activities include research and scientific production, design and implementation of advanced prototype solutions with high methodological and technological content, as well as training and dissemination of results.
