Geotechnics and Sedimentology Lab

The laboratory deals with sedimentological analysis, dry and wet sieving for consultant and for research (mainly recent and ancient volcanoclastic deposits). It is also possible to measure the density of clasts and aggregates. A recently acquired microscope equipped with digital photocamera is also available.

The laboratory is equipped with instrumentation and space to handle even large volumes of material and samples to be analyzed.
