Laboratory for the measuraments of Environmental Radioactivity
Main activities of the laboratory cover radiochemical characterization of soils, rocks and water. Analyses are perfomed by Ametek Ortec alfa-spectrometry and high resolution gamma-spectrometry using two HPGe sensors with planar and coaxial configuration respectively.

equipment
The laboratory is equipped with gamma ray spectrometers and dosimeters for measurements on field. Radon and its progeny measurements in air, water and soil are realized by passive accumulators and a RAD7 portable radonometer.
