Radiogenic ISOTOPE LABORATORY
The Radiogenic ISOTOPE LABORATORY hosts a Finnigan MAT 262 -RPQ mass spectrometer used for standard Sr and Nd isotope determinations.
Our research interests and backgrounds are quite varied.
Current/recent projects comprise studies of:
- Magmatic processes and ore deposits,
- Environmental geochemistry
- Food provenance traceability.
The Radiogenic ISOTOPE LABORATORY provides facilities for processing and analyzing geochemical samples including natural waters, extractions of soils and sediments, and digests of rock, soil, sediment and human tissues.
